Room seven are starting to learn all about Matariki as part of out Te Reo studies. Mr Ross wanted to know how much we actually knew about Matariki before we got started. So he gave us the challenge to fill out a Padlet with information of what we already know. Boy oh Boy was he super impressed and taken a back with just how much we already knew. Here is the Padlet of what we produced. We challenge you bloggers to leave a comment and see if you can add even more information.

Hey Room 7,
ReplyDeleteI can see you know quite a bit about Matariki already. I think you just taught me a think or two as well. Perhaps it may be a good idea to check your information against another source sometimes though. I want to know more about Matariki being called Mitsubishi in the USA so I am going to double check that and get back to you.
Great collaboration as well Room 7 and Mr Ross.
Kia ora , my name is Amie and I am a student in Te Waka Ako at Waikowhai Primary School. I really like how you added a padlet about matariki in your blog post because everyone has different facts about matariki. It made me think of when Manukau have also made a padlet about matariki too. Have you thought about using different websites to show your learning too? If you would like to see my learning, my blog is http://wpsamiem.blogspot.co.nz/. Amazing!
