Room 7's Awesome Writing

Over the past two weeks the mighty Room 7 have been creating some outstanding pieces of writing. We have been looking at creative ways to write stories by using using story starters. For inspiration we watched some videos from famous New Zealanders about how important writing is to their success. You can watch the video's by clicking on this link.  https://goo.gl/0HyKKl. After watching these videos we then could not wait to get started and create our own magical masterpieces. Here are just a few examples of the work we produced. Please feel free to leave us a comment of what you think of our work.

  1. Kia ora Room 7,
3 great pieces of creative writing. Thank you for sharing.
Story 1 - I was hooked right from the start - a smelly and haunted cow shed certainly had me wondering what was going to happen inside... I am left wondering who is behind Dopy Peg Leg Pete... will I get to find out more soon?
Story 2 - Your words paint an interesting picture in my mind - a toenail growing bigger and bigger until it is the size of a baby! I'm a bit worried about what is going to happen to Jeremy with that cat Tom eyeing him up..
Story 3 - Imagine being too busy polishing your diamonds to notice your store is getting robbed! A gangster hamster certainly made me laugh. Not good to hear that there is a problem with the bag, I wonder what will happen when the police come...
Look forward to reading more of your stories.
    Tania

  2. Hi Room Seven it's Saskia from Room Nine and I loved reading your writing because it really hooked me in, I also think you could work on your grammar more. But why would a hamster date something 100 times bigger than it?
