Waitemata went on tinker-cad for Maths this week and made our own park. When we used Tinker-Cad we had to make equipment to play on out of 3D shapes. We were allowed to create any playground we wanted BUT we had to be creative. Below is an example of some work done by one of our new and very talented year 4 students Paula's work. The Famous Waikowhai Book fair week. Yet again the Waikowhai students showed just why they are the best in the world by really getting into our book fair week. We have been super busy doing fun and exciting activities. We had the outstanding and very funny Judi Billcliff as a guest speaker. We have dressed up as our favourite book character. We have even had a parade to showcase the wonderful characters we have here in our school. Below is just a snap shot of some of the fun that we have had here this week.

To kick start a very busy term three Te Waka Ako have been getting creative. We have been creating the sounds of sweet sweet music (and some not so sweet sweet music) whist looking at how we can connect our bodies through music. For our Music and Dance unit this term we have been starting to look at Music and what influence music has over us. For our first and second dance and music sessions we have been looking at how we can use our bodies to create different shapes and forms as well as making music that enhances and creates a certain type of mood. Below are just a couple of videos of the awesome work we have created thus far. Please feel free to comment and tell us what you think.
